NOTE: Pain to Power Event
Objectives
The purpose of the Pain to Power Convening is to:
- Raise awareness and reduce stigma about perinatal mental health issues through storytelling;
- Educate participants about mental health challenges that affect 1 in 5 perinatal women and disproportionately impact Black women, women of color and marginalized communities;
- Facilitate dialogue, connections, and solidarity among attendees;
- Drive community-led advocacy for policies and practices that support perinatal mental health.
We are excited to host our convening in-person, yet remain committed to the health and safety of our guests. We are following current Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Guidelines. We reserve the right to change and/or update the requirements, up until the day of the event, for the safety of the guests. We will communicate with participants by email and post any updates here.
